    The Uoara is located next to the fishing harbour Maisaka where many kinds of marine products get unloaded because of the Hamana Lake adjacent to the Pacific Ocean (the sea of Enshu).

    Thanks to the fresh products in each of four seasons, we can serve you the delicious Japanese cuisine. You can spend the time to enjoy tasting it with the ocean view through the window of restaurant.

    100 years since establishment

    A fisherman Arajiro Yamada, who was a founder of Uoara, started the business at Maisaka in 1912. He provided a lot of Japanese hotels with fresh fish and other marine products directly and before long he provided them with cooked cuisine together.

    Then the Uoara, as a Japanese restaurant, opened for more people some years later and has been keeping the original taste since the establishment.

    closed on Monday (when it comes on holiday, Tuesday is off instead.)
